retitle 463676 torrents stuck at "waiting for hashcheck" thanks On 6/21/08, Steve Cotton <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > I've seen this twice since upgrading to 0.1.7.
Sorry for the confusion. In my mind, the bug was for the torrents not starting fast enough, and the unique piece numbers not being updated fast enough (both of which are fixed). I see now that you are having another problem with the torrents getting stuck indefinitely, so I've retitled the bug appropriately. > Both times I did an "update" in aptitude, then checked the status > page before starting the download. > > The first time I noticed on the status page that things were stuck > "waiting for hashcheck" and restarted debtorrent-client before > starting the download. They should not get stuck in this state, as the hash checking should be very fast, so I'm trying to figure out why this is happening. Unfortunately it seems to be intermittent (if you can reproduce it reliably, let me know), which makes it very difficult to diagnose.
