I've seen this twice since upgrading to 0.1.7.
Both times I did an "update" in aptitude, then checked the status
page before starting the download.
The first time I noticed on the status page that things were stuck
"waiting for hashcheck" and restarted debtorrent-client before
starting the download.
The second time I noticed the "waiting for hashcheck", started the
download anyway, and saw the original reported bug.
