Take 1 machine with a fresh install of Lenny (using the recently released beta 2 of the installer for lenny). Disable "Power Manager" from the "Startup Programs" tab of the "Session Preferences" app (for some reason that I still don't understand, the bug doesn't show if the "power management daemon" is running). Logout and log back in again. Do not start any other apps - just wait 10 seconds. Now try to log out. Pressing on the logout button does nothing (just as though the cancel button had been pressed). Note that if, once you've logged in, you start any other apps then the logout will work OK (this bug only seems to be triggered if you log in and then log out again without starting any other apps - I'm not sure why this is). While the logout process has been blocked, if you start any other app (say Gnome Terminal), the logout continues immediately. Again, I don't know why this is. Please tell me if you need more info, although this bug is really easy to reproduce (this is a freshly installed Lenny on a clean partition).
