Is autoaudiosink not working in some actual case? If so, I think we should address that with the GStreamer folks. While I think they can probably be removed, we do also offer the ESD and ALSA settings. It seems to me that people that aren't running under GNOME don't want to be going into gconf to change their settings, assuming they even have gconfd installed in the first place. Richard
