Package: php-cli
There's no php-cli package in Debian. Where did you obtain it from?
Sorry, i shordend the package name by mistake. The package name is
reported as php4-cli 4.3.10-13 by dselect.
doh, I should have noticed that myself.
I interpret this problem as a mismatch in the compiled versions.
I'm CCing the maintainer of this package and reassining it to the
correct one so he can take a look.
By the way, I had some problem with upgrading from Woody to Sarge. I
resolved that by removing the packages php4-cli and php4-pear. It's a minor
irritation, but if you fix it it will make the upgrade process more easy
Can you please send a detailed upgrade report to the
debian-testing@lists.debian.org mailing list so people can look into
it?
Sorry, I made the upgrade as soon as the freze of Sarge was announced.
As a consequence I do not remember enough details now to be of any help.
I think that most of my problems was due to build misconfigurations, as
I was able to finish the upgrade after a few days. I had to reboot my
computer in single user mode after a few days, and could finish the
dist-upgrade after that.
I have solved the problems now, thank you for your help. For some reason
it sorted itself out after I had a look at
http://ftp.se.debian.org/debian/dists/sarge/main/binary-386/Packages
using Mozilla, so I am happy now.
With my best regards,
Sören Jonsson
