Four years later I'm a much better sysadmin than I was then (I hope), and I don't mind using LDAP, NIS, or some other centralized database to manage login information on multiple hosts. I don't even remember what situation prompted me to make the suggestion. I think Alexander is right about my original motivation, but I don't think it's worth anyone's time to put any energy into the feature. Now I'm wondering what other silly wishlist bugs I filed so long ago. It's fine with me if you close the bug. Thanks for the followup, though. -- | Robert de Forest | Rogue Sysadmin -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
