Dear Kai, Many thanks for your email - I would be delighted to support any effort to produce a German localization of cryptmount.
As regards the "user-%lu" string, this is issued when someone tries to unmount a filesystem that was mounted by a different user. The message is supposed to give the numerical user identity (as provided by getuid()). So, only the '%lu' part should be the numerical UID, and a typical output might be 'only user-16 can unmount "opaque"'. If you do manage to produce a German set of translations, I would be very grateful if you could send me a copy for inclusion future releases of cryptmount. Kind regards, Richard +-- on Tue, May 06, 2008 at 08:31:34AM +0200, Kai Wasserbäch wrote: ---+ > Package: cryptmount > Version: 2.1-1 > Severity: minor > Tags: l10n > > Hello, > during the discussion of the German translation of your Debconf template I > came > accross the following line: > > #: cryptmount.c:453 > > #, c-format > > msgid "only user-%lu can unmount \"%s\"\n" > > It is unclear whether the »user-« part is also part of the user id or only the > replaced part (%lu).
