Hi Dafydd, This crash is happening when config file is not found (typical after first installation of weechat). I fixed bug in our CVS and we'll release a new package in next hours. As a workaround and waiting for this new package, you can do this: touch ~/.weechat/weechat.rc then run weechat-curses, it should work without problem.
