On ttf-malayalam-fonts package there is a Duplication of Rachana Fonts.
Rachana_w01.ttf is an Old version of Rachana_04.ttf
So I request to remove the Old version. Also for Debian Installer Udeb
Replace Rachana_w01 the Old version font with Rachana_04.ttf
What problems in Rachana_w01 does Rachana_04 fix?
Also 2 fonts in this package AnjaliOldLipi-0.730.ttf & MalOTF.ttf are
not rendering well with Upstream pango, we swathanthra Malayalam
Computing, the malayalam L10n team can provide patches for these fonts
very soon
Please provide them ASAP. As it is, it is probably too late to get these
changes into lenny but if we beg and plead we might be able to get a
special dispensation. It is important that we are fully ready on our end
before we approach the d-i/release teams.
