Hello: I see some strange things on your settings. If you are on Debian "hardy" which is an ubuntu release shouldn't be on your repositories. Please remove it.
Also I can see that you prefer lenny over sid, but some narrow margin. Also mesa packages libglu1-mesa and libgl1-mesa-glx are no the newest version. Please upgrade your system to latest lenny and try with that. If it doesn't work, try upgrading xserver-xorg-video-intel and eventually full xorg to unstable. If it still doesn't work it could be time to consider a video or Xorg bug. Gather as much info as possible about the problem: pcbnew console output and even Xorg log. Anyway, current kicad version on Debian is not much up to date as well, there have been some important changes on kicad since it was package. So maybe you could be interested in waiting some time to try a more recent version once uploaded into Debian. Good luck and regards, -- Raúl Sánchez Siles
