The --ip option only tells the client to add an ip parameter to the
request sent to the tracker. Most trackers are unfortunately
configured to ignore that parameter and just use the address that you
connect to the tracker with. See the bttrack man page under the
--only_local_override_ip option.

Do you mean by this that bittornado does not use the IP address you
specified in the --bind option? My experience is that it does use the
--bind option's address to listen for connections from remote peers.
However, when starting new connections itself to other peers (and the
tracker) it uses the default address.

There is a fix for this behavior on the BitTornado forums that I was
thinking of adding:

http://forums.degreez.net/viewtopic.php?t=7201

Let me know if you think that would solve your problem, and if you are
willing and able to test a new package with the fix included.

Thanks,
Cameron
