The module and firmware files will be available in the usr/lib/iscan and usr/share/iscan directories, relative to the current directory. You need to copy the module files to /usr/lib/iscan and the firmware file to /usr/share/iscan. Seems clear to me? > And in which RPM is it found? You need to copy the module files to /usr/lib/iscan and the firmware file to /usr/share/iscan. Seems clear to me, here again? If it's not easy enough for you, direct your complaints to Epson. There's not much I can do to help, given that I have about as much information as about everybody else. epkowa is included in libsane-extras as a service to my users. It costs me time and effort to deal with this crap, given that Epson provides absolutely nothing to distro packagers. If you don't like the way it is now, complain to Epson, trash your scanner and buy another one from a more friendly, less autistic vendor.
