Thanks, it is fixed in the po4a repository. I plan to make a new release
this week-end.

There are already some exceptions to the mangling of '-', but a lot are
probably missing:
#  * \s-n (reduce font size)
#  * \(.. (e.g. '<-' or '-D')
#  * inside a \h'...'
#  * inside a \C'...'
#  * inside a \[...]
#  * inside a \*(..
#  * inside a \*[...]
#  * inside a \v'...'
#  * inside a \H'...'
#  * inside a \Z'...'
