I don't consider caring about Debian's social contract as being a troll. I do care about people who would rather argue about icons in a player which was previously broken in testing before I downgraded severity so it would pass through, and I do consider that trolling. By doing that, you struck a nerve with me. As I said before, I am eager to work with you on replacing the icons, however, if you are not interested in working on this, complaining about downgraded severity is counter-productive. The fact is, having a working bmpx is far more important than having one that is broken, and the bmpx in lenny was horribly broken. Again, I, and BMPx upstream are eager to work with you to find replacement icons. We hang out on irc.freenode.net #bmp if you want to help out with the search. The problem is that finding good icons/artwork which are GPL or public domain is hard, and having it as such a high severity is a delay which is not beneficial to Debian's users of bmpx. Plus, there are far worse offenders in main: ZSNES has a 64 byte binary blob with an unknown copyright, so do a lot of the other emulators. We probably cannot legally ship those emulators _period_. Anyway, are you interested in finding some replacement icons? Because if you are truly interested in being productive, I wouldn't mind working with you. William
