There are too many possible combinations to properly check this _and_
bail out. It may give a warning if it thinks it may not work.

For example:
- i386 host may have a 64bit kernel and can bootstrap a amd64 chroot.
- any host may have a binary handler which calls qemu host emulation and
  can "run" such binaries.
