Package: openoffice.org Version: 2.0.4.dfsg.2-7etch4 After the initial program window comes up: Between clicking the "File" menu for the first time, and seeing the menu pop up, is a long delay---on the order of 20 seconds---during which neither the keyboard nor mouse can interact with OO.org nor any other program (such as the window manager). The delay is long enough to make one suspect X itself has gone catatonic.
