I was just told that there's actually a recently started (good timing, eh?) project that aims to create a brand new policy for webapps, see <https://alioth.debian.org/projects/webapps-common/>. They even got their own mailing list ([EMAIL PROTECTED]), to which I just subscribed. Anyway - I don't intend to change the way Munin is packaged until that project has produced something that's mature enough to be included in Policy with just small or no modifications (would be foolish to change anything before I know it'll be the Right Way, in my opinion). I suggest you subscribe to this list; you've obviously got a lot of suggestions and opinions on this subject and I'm sure they'll value your input.
