From what I get this is after about 20 minutes.  That would mean you have
a drift of about 30000 ppm.  ntpd will not be able to deal with such
big drifts.

This is ussually a kernel problem.  I suggest you try a different
version of the kernel.

Thanks for the information. Three questions:

* Do you recommend any particular kernel in the unstable, or should I just try an older version and hope for the best?

* I assume I should pare down the list of servers. FYI four of these are from the default distribution Debian pool, so there's a problem upstream.

* Should I send a bug report to the kernel, and if so, where?

(And I also want you to know that my .sig changes randomly every 5 minutes... just lucky, I guess.)
