Hi Dirk, With the new R and new BLAS, example(kappa) fails with the following error BLAS/LAPACK routine 'DGEBRD' gave error code -10 Upon further review, the error is actually thrown from svd(). I don't have a non-Debian machine with 2.6.2 to determine if it is an upstream bug, but I would guess it is a complication with the recent BLAS changes in Debian. This bug did not occur with yesterday's R / BLAS setup. The bug happens on i386 as well.
