The new package was in the unique-piece-numbers file you got. But from the log file, I see that your first request to download it came too soon after the apt-get update. It can take DebTorrent a while to process the downloaded Packages file into a torrent (especially for main). In your case, the request came 10 seconds after the apt-get update was complete, but the torrent wasn't ready for another 20 seconds after that. That seems particularly slow, and is probably something I'll have to look into. > I then updated again, and the download timed out (in Aptitude) > after about 15 minutes. This is a separate problem from the previous one. Your second request should have been downloaded using the HTTPDownloader, since the package was probably not available in any other peers due to its newness. However, the HTTPDownloader seems to be stuck, since if you search for that in the log file you won't find it. If you could go back further and find where it gets stuck, that section of the log file (and what lead up to it) would be very helpful. Searching for HTTPDownloader should help find that.
