This bug is marked as fixed in 1.4.7-3. Now debian/copyright reads "Copyright (C) 2002-2007 James Su and other contributors" for the files mentioned in this bug report, because it's just too tedious to list each and every copyright holder in debian/copyright, and those files are all under LGPL. The files that are under different licenses are each noted in debian/copyright. If you disagree with this solution, feel free to reopen the bug and start more discussion.
