FWIW, this would also be a good argument in supporting relaxing our
current choice of not depending on any other script language than
shellscript and python. The rationale being that in Debian we now have
python-btsutils, a ready to go library to interact with the BTS
supporting both HTML scraping and SOAP.

I'm in favour of such a choice.
