Package: module-assistant Version: 0.10.11 Severity: wishlist Tags: patch Hello there,
I wrote a small shell script (probably full of bash-isms) that can be run on bootup (or periodically with cron) to check if all modules managed by m-a are installed for all available kernels. If it's the case, recompilation and installation is performed. I have been testing it on my machines (two AMD64 with Sid and an i386 with Etch) for a while now, and it never failed me, so I'd like to propose it for inclusion, maybe as an example in /usr/share/doc/module-assistant. Please feel free to make fun of my bash skills, or lack thereof :) Thanks for your help! -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.23-1-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages module-assistant depends on: ii libtext-wrapi18n-perl 0.06-5 internationalized substitute of Te ii perl 5.8.8-12 Larry Wall's Practical Extraction Versions of packages module-assistant recommends: ii liblocale-gettext-perl 1.05-1 Using libc functions for internati -- no debconf information -- Email.it, the professional e-mail, gratis per te: http://www.email.it/f Sponsor: Cioccolato Venchi: promozione sul cioccolato da ordinare online * * Clicca qui: http://adv.email.it/cgi-bin/foclick.cgi?mid=7107&d=6-1
