I installed a "barebones" lenny system with "xfce4" and "conky" and could not reproduce the behaviour documented in this bug report. (OK. I admit that I did this on Xephyr rather than a *real* xserver!) So the problem may be somewhere else --- perhaps with the xserver or with the library mismatch. Regards, Kapil. P.S.
