Yes, it contains the option --chuid dcc:dcc:

        start-stop-daemon --start --quiet --pidfile /var/run/$NAME.pid \
                --chuid dcc:dcc --exec $DAEMON -- $OPTIONS

However, it doesn't actually work for some reason:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ sudo /etc/init.d/dcc-client start
Starting DCC program interface daemon: dccifd.
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ ps waux | grep dcc
root     19857  0.0  6.7  26344  8448 ?        Ssl  18:21
0:00 /usr/sbin/dccifd
