Package: ec-fonts-mftraced Version: 1.0.10a-1 Severity: important In postinst, the call to mktexlsr is not protected with || : like it is in postrm. This causes package installation to fail if tetex-bin is not installed locally (the fonts ARE useful on their own, as the fonts may be used by files generated from TeX output, such as postscript or pdf files).
I respectfully suggest changing the line in postinst to mktexlsr || : More info: Detailed example scenario: User A writes a TeX/LaTeX document that uses the ec fonts, runs the resulting file through dvips and ps2pdf, then posts the result on his web page. User B at a different site finds the pdf file on the web page and views it with xpdf. By having ex-fonts-mftraced installed, xpdf can correctly display the document even though the user does not have TeX itself installed.
