Package: dlocate
Version: 0.93
Severity: normal

Dear all,

mlocate and locate(findutils) now work together via alternatives. Could
you make dlocate use the one installed instead of relying on locate
being installed. mlocate is much faster with indexing and does not trash
my fs cache, a point which is not to be underestimated on a small laptop
where when you boot the next several minutes everything is horrible slow
due to locate updatedb.

Thanks a lot

Norbert
