Package: apt Version: 0.7.6 Followup-For: Bug #372504 I'm the maintainer of "approx", which will soon support pdiffs, so I noticed this behavior too. I can confirm that the server is only receiving one request for each pdiff file, but the apt-get client is printing the message 3 times, like this:
