opened since 2002 :( it appears that more distros are doing this
themselves... I've just prodded upstream about the issue.
I'm a little hesitant to do this locally, as keeping things in sync can
be a royal PITA (IE libnss-ldap 258 has a fix to prepend the
_ldap._tcp string; which can break extant setups).
