No gnomes here, thank you :-) . All I do with the root window is
to set
the background wallpaper. But I think I tried to disable that and it
didn't make a difference.
hm, I need to test that, very strange. I must admit, I haven't used
Oroborus and Deskmenu for quite some time (currently I either use Mac
OS X or Compiz).
