Thanks. I hadn't realised that libwww-perl didn't support IPv6. That bug report is quite old, and nothing seems to have happened. If there are no plans to incorporate IPv6 support into libwww-perl, I may need to switch to using libcurl3 for apt-cacher > Something else I've noticed is that with the version, bzip2 and gzip > complain about the translation files > ("34% [3 Translation-en_US bzip2 0] [Waiting for headers]bzip2: (stdin) > is not a bzip2 file") > which didn't happen on the other versions (though it looks like with > older apt-cacher versions, aptitude doesn't even request them, which is > a bit odd). Translation support was new in 1.5.5. I haven't seen the bzip2 error though. There is a similar report at #448092. Are you running in CGI mode too? I am going to reassign this to libwww-perl. If you want to persue the bzip2 issue, can you add it to #448092. Thanks Mark -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
