Great! Then you've found the root of the problem. In the case of LC_ALL=es_ES, it might be the case that when there is no translation, you default to plain english, but my /etc/environment has this: LC_ALL="ca_ES.UTF-8" LANG="ca_ES.UTF-8" LANGUAGE="ca:es_ES.UTF-8:es:C" So it might be that when there is no translation to some text in spanish when launching liferea with LC_ALL=es_ES, it falls back again to the whole LANGUAGE chain. In fact, I've tried to export a LANGUAGE=es, together with the LC_ALL and LANG variables, and everything went fine :) Soooo.... the whole problem are those two damn po(or) lines! :D Thanks for taking the time to look at it :) apa! -- "And it's much the same thing with knowledge, for whenever you learn something new, the whole world becomes that much richer." -- The Princess of Pure Reason, as told by Norton Juster in The Phantom Tollbooth Listening: Liquid Tension Experiment (Liquid Tension Experiment) - 2.
