Package: python-scientific-doc Version: 2.4.9-2 Severity: wishlist Tags: patch
Please register the documentation that comes with this package with doc-base. This will make it readily accessible to dhelp, for instance. It's done easily by creating a file debian/doc-base (or debian/python-scientific-doc.doc-base). The doc-base file might look like: ========================================================== Document: python-scientific-doc Title: ScientificPython User's Guide Author: Konrad Hinsen Abstract: ScientificPython is a collection of Python modules that are useful for scientific computing. This manual describes version 2.4 of ScientificPython. Section: Apps/Programming Format: html Index: /usr/share/doc/python-scientific/HTML/Scientific.html Files: /usr/share/doc/python-scientific/HTML Format: pdf Files: /usr/share/doc/python-scientific/PDF/manual.pdf ====================================================================== You could maybe argue for putting it in section Development rather than Programming. I'm not sure about making a separate entry for the BSP docs, I presume it could be done.
