If this fix for Ant is just now in Ant's cvs head, perhaps we should
make a patch for it and incorporate that into Debian's ant package.
They say ant is behind wrt free java solutions - so taking the initiative may be smart - no idea when they plan the next release
Chronologically, however, the fix should be in 1.6.3-beta1 - I can't confirm - but packaging that version might be an option...
