I'm running a T41p with a FireGL T2 Mobility. When loading the module, I can login using gdm but my GNOME session doesn't get the time to load successfully. A few icons in the panel appear, then the machine becomes completely unresponsive, up to a point where I can't even kill the X server with [Ctrl]+[Alt]+[BS]. After three failed attempts, I moved fglrx.ko out of the way, restarted and it worked again. The module worked flawlessly with 8.38.6-2. - -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.22-2-686 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages fglrx-kernel-src depends on: ii bzip2 1.0.3-7 high-quality block-sorting file co ii debhelper 5.0.57 helper programs for debian/rules ii make 3.81-3 The GNU version of the "make" util Versions of packages fglrx-kernel-src recommends: ii kernel-package 11.001 A utility for building Linux kerne ii module-assistant 0.10.11 tool to make module package creati - -- no debconf information -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.6 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFHJt9qkDGKfHXexj8RApclAJ9RIalE62F2yxvpbIqMTVjtTaCexwCdHBNn DBpB0ALzhkhIJn6VJw2V874= =DJi1 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
