No, only for Solaris.  I've exported AFS locations via NFS with no
authentication and read-only access. (For example, to perform NFS
installs of operating systems.)

I recommend highly the book "Managing AFS".  It is a bit dated but AFS
really hasn't changed all that much over the years from the
administrator's perspective, aside from kas->krb5 transition.
