Package: qcad Version: 2.0.4.0-1-2 Severity: important
Accordingly to the package documentation, undo history is infinite, this can make memory used by qcad grow indefinitely. Shouldn't this memory be freed when the draw is saved or closed? I believe it should, but it doesn't happen (at least on my system - could it be some issue with the memory management in kernel 2.6? I'm using kernel 2.6.10). Even if I close all draws in qcad, the memory used for undo isn't freed. When I'm working with fairly large number of entities, memory used by qcad grows very quickly and I find myself quitting/reopening qcad at least once per hour (the only way I could find to free up the memory used by qcad). This is quite annoying. I'm sorry if this isn't a bug, please feel free to reassign it as a wishlist item.
