Martin,

Sorry for taking so long to reply.  The default configuration installed
by ivman does in fact use pmount-hal in order to automount plugged
volumes.

Does the current hal have anything like a drop-in replacement?  I
couldn't find one.  A quick look at what gnome and kde were doing didn't
find me a easy replacement.

Do you have a suggestion that I might be overlooking?
