Package: splashy Version: 0.3.3 Severity: normal usplash is missing a conflicts with usplash. As a result you can install both which will obviously lead to clashes.
Maybe it would make sense to add a virtual package "bootsplash-system" (better name appreciated) and each splash package in Debian (bootsplash/usplash/splashy) should add a Conflicts/Provides: bootsplash-system. Would imo be the cleanest solution. If you agree, feel free to clone the bug for usplash and bootsplash.
