Package: powersaved
Version: 0.14.0-5
Severity: normal

The script /usr/lib/powersave/wttyhx called from
/usr/lib/powersave/helper_functions fails to detect the display information,
which negatively affects some functionality of powersaved. (I found the
problem, because Fn+F3 does not put my Thinkpad T40p into the standby mode.)

The cause of the problem seems to be a false assumption made by wttyhx. It
assumes that /proc/$PID/cmdline, where PID is the PID of the X server,
contains the display information. On my machine running etch,
"cat $PID/cmdline" just yields

   /usr/bin/X11/Xmt-soledad:

No display information is found in it.
