I can't confirm the behaviour your are describing. wttyhx works fine for me. Please keep in mind, that wttyhx has to be run as root, otherwise the access to /proc/$PID/cmdline is denied. Could you please recheck if this problems really occurs when you execute wttyhx as root? That wttyhx returns nothing as regular user is normal.
