I've finally had the time to test with glibc 2.5. The problem is that in this version support for linuxthreads was removed. MaxDB 7.5 is still using this old threading variant on i386 instead of NPTL. I will try and compile future version with NPTL support activated (since it is already there for the amd64 and ia64 platforms).
