When I do this on my local copy, I get the following results: dpkg -c mailscanner_4.55.10-4_all.deb | grep changelog -rw-r--r-- root/root 6222 2006-12-20 21:37 ./usr/share/doc/mailscanner/changelog.Debian.gz md5sum mailscanner_4.55.10-4_all.deb d57a009e21404d9e496f71ac2e2fb3a5 mailscanner_4.55.10-4_all.deb >From where did you get the package?
