        It is compatible with initramfs-tools, yes. It is also
 compatible with yaird. make. gcc. ldconfig. and loads of other
 packages -- and I think it would just cluttr thing up to mention
 everything we are copatible with.

        Also, did you read all the existing documentation, anyway?
 Specifically, did you note the INITRD_CMD of kernel-pkg.conf(5) man
 page that talks about the initrd stuff? I don't think adding hints in
 the documentation would help,  really.
