Sorry to have taken so long to reply to this. I see a variety of patches here: http://cvs.fedora.redhat.com/viewcvs/rpms/icu/devel/ some of which are older than 3.6 and some of which are newer than the bug report. I'm a little reluctant to accept a bunch of patches I can't test, but if you can suggest exactly which patches you think we should accept, I'll check with the release team to see whether they think it's okay to let this into etch. This would be my guess as to which patches to include: icu.icu5418.malayam.patch icu.icu5431.malayam.patch icu.icu5433.oriya.patch icu.icu5465.telegu.patch icu.icu5488.assamese.patch icu.icu5501.sinhala.biggerexpand.patch The above list includes all the patches that seem specific to Indic languages and are older than the bug report excluding 5506. In addition, there's this: icu.icu5594.gujarati.patch which may also qualify. What do you think?
