Package: dansguardian Version: 2.8.0.6-antivirus-6.4.4.1-1 I created a logical volume for /tmp with lvm2 on etch, and rebooted so that the new volume was mounted as /tmp.
Dansguardian startup failed with the error message: "Error binding ips server file"... All other daemons start all right, and the file system checks OK. Upon removing the mount on /tmp, and letting /tmp reside on the root filesystem, Dansguardian starts fine. I have not verified whether the issue exists if a non-lvm2 volume were mounted as /tmp. I do not know whether this is a regression relative to sarge.
