I think the title of this bug report should be changed because the problem doesn't only occur "when trying to add a Windows 2003 VPN".
I see the same problem when merely choosing to create a new profile, giving a profile name then choosing 'OK'. As far as I can see KVpnc is the only GUI OpenVPN client in Debian Etch, so there is some onus upon it to work. -- Pete Boyd
