Package: lcdproc Version: 0.5.1-3 Severity: important In the /etc/LCDd.conf configuration file, the current value for the DriverPath parameter is 'server/drivers/' (the default in upstream). The driver modules are installed in /usr/lib/lcdproc.
As a consequence, LCDd can't load the default curses driver when invoked after package installation: Feb 4 08:10:03 debian LCDd: Could not open driver module server/drivers/curses.so: server/drivers/curses.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory Feb 4 08:10:03 debian LCDd: Driver [curses] binding failed Feb 4 08:10:03 debian LCDd: Could not load driver curses Feb 4 08:10:03 debian LCDd: There is no output driver Feb 4 08:10:03 debian LCDd: Critical error while initializing, abort. This also applies to any driver specified in the 'Driver' parameter. DriverPath needs to be changed to '/usr/lib/lcdproc/', in order for LCDd to locate the driver modules supplied by this package. -- System Information: Debian Release: 4.0 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.18-3-686 Locale: LANG=en_AU.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_AU.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages lcdproc depends on: ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.11 Debian configuration management sy ii libc6 2.3.6.ds1-10 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libncurses5 5.5-5 Shared libraries for terminal hand ii libusb-0.1-4 2:0.1.12-4 userspace USB programming library ii lsb-base 3.1-23 Linux Standard Base 3.1 init scrip lcdproc recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
