Package: munin-node
Version: 1.2.5-1
Severity: important

munin plugins hddtemp_smartctl and smart_ use smartctl
to load up information from hard drives. Smartctl while
spin up the hard drive to get smart values grabbed. Waking
up hard drives consumes electricity unnecessarily and
will make the hard drive die earlier.

By adding "-n standby" to smartctl invokation in
hddtemp_smartctl and smart_ plugins makes smartctl
not wake up the disks.
