Fair enough. I received a patch from upstream to disable the plugins CoreUpdater, CorePatcher and azplatform2. This seems like a good plan if it were possible to run the updater from the GUI menu, perhaps Tools -> Update Azureus. Patches happily accepted. Rather than disabling the updater plugin entirely, I would still like to see the user given the notice, if only there were an `Ignore forevermore' option.
